Very comfortable hotel, with helpful staff. Rooms are clean and of very good quality for the price. Hotel is situated close to beach and restaurants. It is a City centre hotel, but still close to beach. If you're there for diving/snorkaling, etc, then still stay in city centre as coastal places are just too remote. Glad to recommend Dweik 2
It was very cheap and for the price ok. But not as good as the pictures in the internet shows it. You have to be careful not to make the mistake and go to the dweik 1. Thats really poor...
Air condition didn't work well and made a very very loud noise. But in summer you need the ac during the night, otherwise its impossible to sleep. Tv was completly broken. The view from the window was directly to wall which was 30 cm far away... The "International Breakfast" was only instant coffee or tee, 4 peaces of pita and some Marmelade and an egg. Nothing else. But for 30 jd per night in the double room, it was ok...
Central location... What else?
Overpriced, 30 jd for a single at this season, not very clean, hairs and smell in the bed, noisy air cons and street, a single bed sheet trying to manage a king size bed :-) and a ridiculous breakfast. I found easily better for less expensive.
Very affordable and budget-friendly. Also a great location, just a short walk to the beach and to great restaurants. Room was very comfortable.
Rooms were old and wore out. Staff at hotel lied about transport to Petra because they made deals with taxi drivers. Breakfast was poor.
Good location. Cheap price. Ok rooms. Hot water for shower. Wifi did not work at first so they happily changed my room.
The location was ideal and the room was nice and clean...right on the main street; but then again Aqaba is a small place and everything is walking distance away. Since I was there for the marathon and the check out was a noon, they gave me an additional hour so that I could take a shower after the race before heading back to Amman. That was nice of them.
I was in Aqaba for the marathon and requested the front staff to give me a packed b'fast as the race start was at 6am. But they refused. However, they did give me a cup of tea in the morning.
Every thing is bad except that this hotel is near the beach & at the center of the city.
Nothing is good:very bad quality breakfast; eggs & cheese only sufficient to eat by 2 persons only. Bad room furniture. Bad service. No watter boiler. No telephone line to make local cools. I recommend to give this hotel 1 star only (not 3 stars)
Location, breakfast was good enough. good view from 4th floor
hotel needs renovation, some lamps in the room don't work, bath not very clean. there are better hotels for that price in Aqaba
In few minutes after the check-in, the staff prepared the additional bed as required. The complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise (even if very basic). The location is excellent to see every point of interest at walking distance. Lot of shops and restaurants in the same street. Excellent value for money.
At the moment of the check-in, the hotel staff apparently had no idea about my booking. Luckily there was the room available. I've been also requested the full cash payment during the check-in, I said I wanted to see the room first. The street in front of the hotel entrance has a "no- parking" sign.
It's in the center of Aqaba, so it's within walking distance from any point of interest in Aqaba. Room was clean and included all necessary facilities - air conditioning, fridge, satelite tv. Breakfast was basic but sufficient.
We got room with "spectacular" view on another builing's wall - aprox. 2,5 m away from the window, so room was quite dark even on sunny day. Air con. Is very noisy, even if you swich off your own and close the window you still hear the noise of other air cons.
Great view from 6th floor terrace! Personell gave a lot of useful information.
Not so fluent english.
The excellence of the staff. They were great on everything: charming, helping, so many things.
Staff was very nice, location excellent, room big and clean. And you pay what is advertised, not like some other hotels in Jordan where 18% is added to the bill.
The room was old but very large and clean. The bed was comfy. There was a large balcony with a good view over the town. There are supermarkets and internet cafe and atm nearby.
We arrived at 2am due to a very late ferry, and the reception were trying to sell us tours at this time in the morning. The WiFi did not work, the tv had one channel and the ac did not work. The reception staff were not friendly. They told us we needed a taxi with them to Wadi rum, but it was half price on the street. Breakfast was bread, cheese triangle, coffee and jam.
